The HY-LiTE® Rapid Microbial Test for Fuel Systems is a tool used for ATP detection associated with active microbial contamination in fuels and associated waters in accordance with ASTM D7463. Samples are reacted in disposable Fuel Test Pens and read in a meter to provide results in less than 10 minutes.
What is HY-LITE 2?
It is an electronic device, the luminometer, measuring quickly (10 minutes) and precisely, the level of ATP present in kerosene. The amount of ATP present is measured by a bioluminescence method. The test should be used each time you take kerosene.
What is ATP?
ATP: Adenosine Triphosphate. ATP is a substance present in all living cells, animal or plant, and in particular in microorganisms.
